I arrive with loads of time to spare, I was supposed to make some welding wire this week but couldn’t be arsed, I do have time to make some but again I couldn’t be arsed. Just as well as it turns out. I grab the accumulated gold from multiple auctions and my stash of bio id verification units and head to the ship which is at the Space Station where I upgrade the S.I. before heading to Crystal Palace where Nocturaline joins. I position the ship ready only to be asked if Casper can join, while I stash the bio id verification units at Crystal Palace, Nocturaline begins the journey back to the SS, I get back aboard before we leave Crystal Palace space and summon Wolta. Back at the space station Leroy Casper Hunter is summoned and with him aboard Wolta takes us to the training grounds. At some point in all that I had managed to create a team and invited everyone with instructions to the Sleepyheads to use Team Chat this week.
We encounter the Horrors at 1903
Wolta’s hour:- It takes a while to find some horrors once in the Training Ground. By the end she has managed a gain of 4.14% in Captain skill.

Cee’s hour:- The Horrors were sparsely distributed and in gathering the first group I lost track of time, leaving me very little for the second group.

Nocturaline’s hour:- I do not remember Nocturaline reporting anything, I do write a rough draft of this as we go but it is blank.

I arrive in good time to find I have 51 gold stone about my person, I refine this to 17 ingots and store the remaining stone. I’m short of PED so making up the amount of ammo required from both Universal and Weapon cells. I head into the big black where I perform a minor upgrade to the ship’s S.I. Wolta arrives soon after followed by Nocturaline and Phil.
Wolta’s hour:- nothing to report.

I am on Calypso and make my way to the ship at Crystal Palace via the Space Station. Wolta arrives at almost the same time and takes us to the training grounds.
Wolta’s hour:- We engage the Cosmic Horrors at 1806. Kills 21 for 0. Wolta relinquishes the seat bang on time, we both repair before I take the helm. Wolta reports a 2% gain in Captain and that Horrors were hard to find at the beginning.
Cee’s hour:- Kills 29 for 15, 10 and 122 PED. Kahlan joins with about 5 minutes left. just before we get the global from the penultimate Horror maybe we should all her lucky Kahlan?
I take us to Crystal Palace before going planet side, later I return and upgrade a little more.

Team name:- Sleepyheads and the 100th SSS
With all aboard a couple of minutes later than planned, I instructed Wolta to Warp to wherever she wished to skill, she promptly took us sub-warp into the Arkadian Training Grounds and we spent an hour skilling there against the Cosmic Horrors. Nocturaline had supplied some snowballs when she came aboard and a snowball fight broke out in Engineering at one point, Wolta spots a Mothership but did not get the name, a UFO perhaps?
After her hour Wolta hands over to me and I warp to the Locusta, this pushed the ship to the brink at one point, but it was well worth it, Engineering were kept busy for most of the hour and I managed a couple of small globals as well as a few decent loots. It seems 11 Locusta is about the safe limit with the combined repair ability of the crew and the current SI, the ship could handle a little more but if one happens to spawn too close it would be a case of emptying the chairs.
I pass on to Nocturaline the same instructions as I gave Wolta, Nocturaline elects to stay with the Locusta. 2 decent loots occur during her stint. It was necessary to supply an RK-20 to Wolta towards the end of the session. I spend some time explaining to Kahlan how to warp the ship. Once she was happy I asked Nocturaline to move the ship clear of the Locusta at the end of her shift and then hand the chair over to Kahlan for her first warp, which Nocturaline does.
Kahlan sits in the chair for the first time and initiates a warp which arrives very close to Crystal Palace, she then docks the ship swiftly, a very good job for this Warp Virgin. As there has been increased hostile activity of late both Nocturaline and myself manned the guns but we were not required.
Not a bad session, failed to make a profit but the loss was only 57 PED and the return was 90%.
