Space Skilling Saturday 240 (At Rocktropia VI)

Start Location:- Rocktropia Space Station.
Time:- 1755 MA.
Present:- Nocturaline, Phil, Wolta and Myself.
Team name:- Sleepyheads back in the black

I arrive with time to spare an am soon aboard, Nocturaline joins me warping in from the new moon that has fallen into orbit of Arkadia, We encounter the Cosmic Horrors at 1759

Wolta’s hour:- Wolta reports that the Horrors were sparse at the beginning and a gain of 2.86% in Captain skill. Loot seemed reasonable.
Kills: 11 + 15

Cee’s hour:- Initial distribution was good but deteriorated loot seemed low but skills were OK.
Kills: 22 + 16

Nocturaline’s hour:- Nocturaline reports that the mob spawn was OK and a gain of 1.26% on Captain skill. During the 25 kill session Nocturaline had to go to assist in Engineering, a 54PED global came at the end of that session from a Cosmic Horror Young, other than that loot seemed poor.
Kills: 17 + 25 + 1

This week’s stats.
Kill total – 107
Balance – Loss of 24 PED
Return – 93%

Next week we will be testing Monria as an additional location in our circuit.

Space Skilling Saturday 222 (At Next Island VII)

Start Location:- Next Island Space Station.
Time:- 1745 MA.
Present:- Draxar, Ekimose, Nocturaline, Ntina, Phil, Wolta and Myself.
Team name:- Sleepyheads + Borns

I arrive a tad late and am pressed to prepare in time, as it is I begin writing this as we are moving to the Training Grounds which is  an unusually late time to be doing so.

Wolta takes us to the Training Grounds, we encounter the Cosmic Horrors at 1747.

Wolta’s hour:- Mobs were easy to find at the beginning but harder after the first kill. A gain of 3.56% in Captain skill.
Kills: 14 + 16

Cee’s hour:- The Horrors were very sparse, and did not want to group, loot seemed poor again but skill gains looked about average.
Kills: 17 + 17

Nocturaline’s hour:- A small global on a Cosmic Horror Young during the first session in a turret. Nocturaline reports good mob density and + 1.39% in Captain skill which is a very good gain.
Kills: 24 + 21

This week’s stats.
Kill total – 109
Balance – Gain 35 of PED
Return – 110%

Next week we will be at Rocktropia, I was beginning to think that Next Island thinks we owe it after the HoF during this year’s first session.

Space Skilling Saturday 178 (B.T. almost disappointing us)

Start Location:- Crystal Palace.
Time:- 1802 MA.
Present:-  Nocturaline,  Wolta and Myself.
Team name:- Sleepyheads expect B.T. issues

I arrive in good time and prepare the ship. Phil can’t make it this evening due to a laptop issue. Wolta takes us out and begins her hour at 1813.

Wolta’s hour; total kills, 21 for a loot of 8 PED.

Cee’s hour; unidentified hostile quad spotted. Kills 30 for 22 PED. A cockup with the timer after the first of two sessions at the guns, neither Nocturaline or I managed to set it running and I had to guess my time. I think I had 5 minute left when I finished but it was not worth the effort. Low skill gains again.

Nocturaline’s hour; total kills 30 with a 67 PED global on a Cosmic Horror Young. Nocturaline had to leave the helm to support engineering during the first of two sessions at the guns.

After, Nocturaline takes us back to Crystal Palace during this journey my broadband connection failed for about 5 minutes.

A loss of 27 PED and a return of 88%, not too bad.
