Space Skilling Saturday 270 (At Rocktropia III) THE LAST?

Start Location:- Rocktropia Space Station.
Time:- 1904 MA.
Present:- Alice, Nocturaline, Ntina, Wolta and Myself

I arrive and prepare, we have a new recruit this week, Alice Pandora Eole, Phil is unable to make it this week. Once Wolta arrives we depart with her at the helm.

Wolta’s hour:- After 20 minutes Ntina arrives. We score a 123 PED global on a Cosmic Horror Young during the first session in the turret. I asked if anyone wanted to include Monria this circuit, no one said anything so we will go to Calypso. Loot was pretty good, Wolta has nothing to report.

Cee’s hour:- Density was good, loot seemed reasonable but skills were very poor. I did nothing but struggle, this is by far the worst interface I’ve seen in any game, I could not return to the forward view after using the look feature except by chance, the whole thing just crashed at one point and I had to wait to login, it is not possible to type while turning. It took so long to maneuver the ship into a position that would let me use a turret that the ship was almost destroyed by the time I got there and I had to wait for repair before going into the turret. This is either designed by a complete incompetent or a way for MA to get a little more money from us, probably both. I have decided and announced to the crew that “THIS IS THE LAST SSS“, if they make the interface usable I will review that. I do this for fun and I am having none so fuck it. I finished after only 40 minutes, I just want this to be over.

Nocturaline’s hour:- Loot seemed to drop off a bit. Nocturaline reports a gain of 1.62% in Captain skill using pills, half way to level 38.

Next week and for as far ahead as I can currently see there will not be an SSS.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank all those who have participated in SSS over the past 5 years, especially Nocturaline, Phil and Wolta who have been the core crew during this time, I apologize to you all for this decision and am saddened by it myself, almost every Saturday night for five years is quite a commitment and to lose this is painful. Hopefully something will be done to improve this complete fuck of an upgrade but somehow I doubt it.
