We begin on time, while Wolta takes us to the training grounds I supply some Rk-5s and welding wire to Kahlan, I don’t know why but it seemed complicated, maybe it’s the heat!
Wolta’s is the first hour. Nocturaline gains her new level in VSE within the first 10 minutes. The first session at the guns was to kill just 5 Horrors, none of them had anything worthwhile. Wolta reports that Horrors are hard to find. The second visit to the guns and there are just 5 more mobs.
My hour, skills seemed OK and the distribution of Horrors was quite good, I had to stand twice to avoid the ship blowing, pity the loot was still poor, it has been a long time since we have seen a Sleepyhead global.
Nocturaline’s hour began with a little manoeuvring to allow me to finish the last of 17 Horrors. Nocturaline soon picks up a decent stack and after just 10 minutes needs 12 killed, again little loot. With two more visits to the turrets during Nocturaline’s session it looks like she managed to get the most mobs but still got just less than a 3% gain in Captain skill even while using a 30% skill pill. Of course loot was poor the entire time.
Nocturaline returns us to Crystal Palace, she had heard reports of pirate activity in the Calypso system so I sat in a turret during the approach. However there was no need.
I store loot at Crystal Palace before descending to the surface as a passenger in Antzy’s quad.
This week’s loss is 130PED, being a return of just 50.50%.
