Space Skilling Saturday 92 (Another dry run!)

Location:- Calypso training ground.
Time:- 1800 MA.
Present:- Nocturaline, Phil, Wolta and Myself.
Team name:- Sleepyheads Not Chardonnay 1995?

Prior to departure Nocturaline again upgrades the ship’s SI with some gold she acquired on Calypso, I do not know what I have done to deserve this. There was some discussion about the team name, Wolta seemed convinced I was drinking Chardonnay but I deny this allegation.

We left Calypso Space Station on time with Wolta at the helm and Myself in the top rear gun, while crossing to Crystal Palace I spotted a friendly also making its way to Crystal Palace and being pursued and fired upon by a hostile. I took a few pot shots at the hostile but missed, it is hard to adjust for a manoeuvring ship and I suspect he was too far away. We crossed unmolested and headed on to the Calypso training ground. Kahlan was not present at this time and we did not know if she would join us.

We engaged the Cosmic Horrors at 1814 and some seconds. Sometime after my first visit to a turret, Wolta reports she has lost the mobs she had collected! She does manage to find some of them and I kill them. One above average loot but not by much. Wolta reports a gain of 6% in Captain skill.

I take the second shift, I found the density of the Horrors to be adequate though more would be nice, I got a lot of skill spam but not much skill and not much loot either.

Nocturaline is last and also reports a lot of skill spam and that mob density was good, the loot remained poor but there was good repair Skilling to be had and plenty of Horrors to kill.

We return to Calypso Space Station, I dropped my loot off at Crystal Palace on the way. The plan was to warp direct to Arkadia but a friend wished to accompany us and needed to be summoned from Calypso Space Station so once there we wait. She wanted to bring her disciple who unfortunately failed to respond to a friend request from me and then went afk! Wolta had to log so Nocturaline and I wait for an agreed 15 minutes before we warp to Arkadia without them.

Wolta listens to Jacques Brel, Nocturaline listens to Blacktorn & Rammstein, I listen to nothing, I write this blog and try to pay attention.

Hunting returns are poor a loss of 129 PED with a return of just 48%.
