Another slightly early start, it was prearranged that Nocturaline would take us out and this she did with her hour beginning at first contact. On leaving Calypso Space Station I sat in the rear gun just in case, I had seen no hostiles but it pays to be cautious.
Soon after Nocturaline’s hour started she spotted the Saratoga, possibly Skilling, she hailed but got no reply, 5 minutes later she reported she had moved away from thus area. I had 4 visits to the guns and every one of them gave me at least 1 decent loot. Nocturaline reported that skills were slow in coming this evening.
I took the next stint at the helm and got a 79PED global on the first Cosmic Horror of the first session with a further 25ish PED on the penultimate Horror. During my next session the penultimate mob again did well and on the last session a decent loot followed by a 74PED global was the icing on the Cosmic Horror cake (it’s like carrot cake but you need a bigger oven). Initially skills seemed slow but they picked up and I did rather well out of the session.
Wolta was up next, the first session at the guns had reverted to normal with very little loot. The second session was better with a 10 PED loot amongst some dross and it was the same with the third and forth sessions. Wolta reported that skill gains were about average and that Creedence Clearwater Revival playing while skilling is nice. With her session over Wolta took us back to Crystal Palace.
During this session 3 people were asking on public channels for warp transports, maybe things are picking up.
The results of the hunt are possibly the best we have had at +161 PED, 168% return.
Wolta listened to Creedence Clearwater Revival in memory of her brother-in-law. Nocturaline listened to Project Pitchfork and I listened to Jazz Record Requests on radio 3, it was on later than normal.
