Almost there

I set out last night on a solo sub-warp trip from Arkadia to Calypso with brief stops at the various hunting grounds in between for a little skilling. After skilling to destruction in Gordon’s Belt I repaired at Zeus and then as it was late stayed there the night.

Sub-warp was not in the least bit dull, with the VU updating all the various chat systems and adding another one I had plenty of time to play around and figure out how things worked.

Today I continued my journey, I was heading for Calypso training grounds and was almost there when I was called upon by a client to provide an off-line transport from Arkadia to Calypso. Of course I answered the call. I explained the need to charge a pick-up fee and the price for transport was agreed. Whilst I prepared for and executed the warp to Arkadia I explained that news of arrival would be via the twitter feed to this site.

I arrived at Arkadia, docking manoeuvres were minimal, issued the summons, the client logged off and I took us out again. There had been several red triangles lurking during approach but all had gone now, the warp to Calypso was uneventful and minimal docking manoeuvres were required. The arrival message was sent and responded to so quickly I found it hard to believe. Payment was tendered and the client TP’d to the planet.

I headed to the surface in my quad, there were a couple of red triangles but I think they were practising against each other, certainly as I reversed away from them they headed away from me.
